FIRE SAFETY
At Novelus, we pride ourselves on our support services for fire safety being cost-effective and proportionate to the risk. With high levels of knowledge and understanding of the United Kingdom Fire Safety Legislation, including the fire risk assessment process and legal requirements, this provides the basis of our skills.
Additionally, our expert Consultants maintain an in-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, British and European Fire Safety Standards, Codes of Practices, Fire Evacuation Strategies, Procedures and Fire Safety Engineering Solutions.
FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
Novelus can supply, commission and service fire extinguishers including ‘Fire Chief’ products and Britannia P50 full range. We can also supply supporting products from Fire Blankets to First Aid Kits.
With our in-house BAFE qualified engineer, this allows us to procure, commission, service and dispose of the full range of extinguisher types and sizes. We are able to provide a bespoke fire extinguisher management system via an app.
This unique app gives each Fire Extinguisher, Fire Blanket and Extinguisher Stand a unique unit number which is used to track each unit from date of procurement, date of commissioning, individual servicing types and dates, all the way through to disposal.
Novelus are able to provide Fire Door Inspections on installed fire doors requiring regular inspections.

FIRE DOOR MAINTENANCE
Fire Door maintenance awareness training covers all the points of a full Fire Safety Door Inspection but is aimed at engineers tasked to maintain this door type.
Practical assessments and a final session exam will confirm the students understanding of course content.
